Luyện nghe bài hát The Gift

A poor orphan named Maria
Was to market one day
She for to rest by the roadside
Where a bird with a wing lay

A few moments passed she saw it
For it's feathers were with sand
But soon clean and it
Was traveling in the warmth of small hand

She happily gave her peso
On a made of rushes and twine
She fed it corn from the market
And watched it grow stronger time

Now the Eve service was coming
And the church shone with and light
And all of the town folks presents
To lay by the manger that

were diamonds and incense
And in packages fit for a king
But for one ragged bird in a small
had nothing to bring

She waited till just midnight
So no one see her go in
And she knelt by the manger
For her gift was of Him

Then the Lord to her through the darkness
"Maria, what you to me
If the in the cage is your offering
Open the and let me see"

she trembled, she did as He ask her
And out of the the bird flew
Soaring up the rafters
On a wing that had good as new

then the midnight bells rang out
And the bird started to sing
A song that no could recapture
beauty was fit for a king

Now felt blessed just to listen
To that cascade of notes sweet and
As her offering was lifted to
By the very nightingale's song
